Barry the bear makes his story known in Children Fiction Books. Barry met Father Christmas who gave him something nourishing. It wasn’t a book but something bears and children like. I hope you’ll enjoy this fiction on Barry the bear.
A young brown bear cub named Barry couldn’t stay asleep during the long winter hibernation. His stomach was growling with hunger. His mother was fast asleep in hibernation and couldn’t be awakened. This bear cub tried nudging her but she snored all the more louder.
Barry had no choice but to creep out of their bear den alone. Barry remembered there was fish in the creek. Barry made his way there to try catch some fish to eat.
Suddenly, Barry heard the loud jingle of bells. He looked up and sure enough, there was Santa Claus and his train of reindeer pulling a sleigh. Barry’s stomach howled with hunger. Santa looked down and saw Barry. He led his reindeer down and asked Barry, “Little Bear, why are you out here alone?”
“I’m hungry and my Mom can’t wake up to help me get some food.”
“Hmmm … Let me see what I have for you,” Santa rummaged through his sacks of goodies in his sleigh. He came up with a gaudily wrapped present.
“I think you would like this,” smiled Santa.
“Thank You Father Christmas! I love you being Father Christmas and being a father figure by taking care of me!” Barry gushed in his acceptance speech.
“Ho, ho, ho,” Saint Nick drew his reins and guided his reindeer back up into the sky.
Barry could barely contain his excitement. He ripped open his present and saw that it was a box of almond nuts. His favorite! How did Santa know? Barry was almost skipping as he made his way home. He had something nourishing to sustain him. After which, he would try to return to his hibernating sleep again.
Merry Christmas!
