Santa Claus wished to pass a message to Children Fiction Books. Saint Nicholas said he wanted to order a shipment of H1N1 swine flu vaccines for himself, Mrs Claus and all the elves at North Pole.
The pharmacy had taken his order but told him that they could only drop the shipment if the weather conditions permitted. The meteorologist predicted that the great whiteout was looming nearby and the heavy snowfall would render incoming traffic impossible.
The pilot of the plane studied the weather reports anxiously. Would he be able to send the swine flu vaccines before the great whiteout prevented any plane from reaching the North Pole?
Would Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and their staff of elves be able to fend off the swine flu virus? Christmas was fast approaching and they needed to stay healthy to make all the toys for the children of the world.
Santa Claus called for a meeting. “Look, guys,” said Saint Nick, “We need to pray for good weather. The plane carrying our shipment of H1N1 swine flu vaccines will not be able to take off and fly to us if the whiteout happens. We need to think of something.”
Smarty, the head of the toy factory, said, “I think we should pray for good weather.” There was a chorus of approval from the room full of elves.
Father Christmas agreed. He appointed one elder elf to take charge of the prayer. They all prayed together.
Mrs Claus suggested that everyone should turn in early and wake up early for the next day. “We have a heavy schedule tomorrow,” Mrs Claus explained.
Everyone dispersed and went back home to their living quarters.
The next day, Santa bounded out of bed and looked at the window. He went to his computer and TV and tuned into the weather forecast.
“Whoppeee!” Santa shouted for joy. The weather would be clear for the day. The supplies plane would be able to land at North Pole. They would get their H1N1 swine flu vaccines.
