How do you collect your stamps? Do you collect them by country or by theme? Jack and Jill are a couple of siblings who love collecting stamps. Jill classifies her stamp collection by the theme of the stamp design. Jack collects his stamp collection by country of origin.
Jack and Jill collect stamps by cutting them out from used postage. Their parents, relatives and friends help the children collect stamps by saving the used postage for them. Sometimes, during the holidays or weekends, Jack and Jill would also visit the Philatelic (Stamp) Museum, to buy some used stamps to add to their collection.
Jack and Jill went to visit the Philatelic Museum on Saturday, September 4, 2010. The stamp museum was housed in one of the oldest buildings in the County. Sometime back, it was refurbished, renovated and done up real dandy to keep up with the times.
Jack and Jill had been to the Stamp Museum countless times before but each visit was different and filled the kids with happiness. This occasion was no different. Jack and Jill brimmed with excitement at the anticipation.
Jill and Jack took the public transport to get to the Philatelic Museum. Their mother took them. Their first sight of the Stamp Museum was the greeting by Old Faithful. This was the kids’ nickname for the mail box that stood at the entrance of the building. Old Faithful was in the design of the earliest letter boxes to collect mail to mailed.
